MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A St. Louis man has been arrested in connection with a September home invasion in Madison.
Thirty-three-year-old Delmarco Turner was arrested Nov. 8 during a traffic stop.
St. Louis County police say Turner jumped out of the car after he was pulled over and threw something onto a hillside as he fled. Officers recovered a Bersa .380 handgun taken during the Madison home invasion.
A group of three men and one woman broke into a Madison home Sept. 9 and held three people at gunpoint while they ransacked the house, taking cash, jewelry and other items.
Madison police say Turner is the only suspect arrested so far. He is expected to be extradited back to Madison to face possible charges of armed robbery, armed burglary, possession of a firearm by a felon and theft.
