CrimeTracker 15: East Side Citgo Robbed

Monday, November 24, 2008 --- 1:45 p.m.

On Sunday night at 9:38 p.m. several Madison Police officers responded to the Citgo gas station, 3401 Milwaukee Street, following an armed robbery. A clerk says a man (described below) threatened him with a knife while demanding money. The clerk complied and the robber took some money. He was last seen on Fair Oaks Street heading towards Atwood Avenue. A police dog was used to track the robber, but he was not found.

Perpetrator is described as a male, white, 50's, 5'6" - 5'8", 145-170 pounds, gray beard, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the word "Wisconsin" on the front, faded blue jeans, and a red hat or bandana.
