On Thursday morning, around 10:00 a.m., two fourth grade John Muir Elementary School students were on the playground with their gym class when they observed a truck drive past. The students were away from the main group when this happened. Both say the driver rolled down his window, and pointed at them – what appeared to be - a handgun with an orange tip. The driver did not say anything and continued driving at a normal speed northbound on Yellowstone Drive.
The vehicle is described as a white truck, similar to a Cadillac Escalade or a GMC. The school's principal is sending a notice home to parents about the incident.
Perpetrator is described as a male, white, mid 30's to early 40's, with light brown or blonde collar length hair, and wearing a white t-shirt.
