Details: In an ongoing effort to crackdown on internet prostitution, the MPD conducted a sting at a North Side hotel last night. It targeted women who use sites like backpage.com to arrange meetings with men at various hotels.
The operation was coordinated by the North District's Community Police Team, and it resulted in the arrests of 4 women. Each was cited for Internet Solicitation of Prostitutes, and Unlawful Trespass.
