Armed men rob Burrito Drive in Madison

Posted Monday, May 5, 2014 --- 1:17 p.m.

Madison Police say two armed men sprayed employees at Burrito Drive with some type of chemical, possibly pepper spray, during a late Sunday night robbery.

Two masked men brandishing handguns robbed the 320 S. Brearly St. restaurant around 10:50 p.m.

The robbers took money from the till and fled out the backdoor. One sprayed three employees as he ran.

The victims suffered burning eyes and mouths, and were treated at the scene.

Police describe the suspects as:

1. Male, black, 20-29 years old, 5'9" to 5'10", 160 to 190 pounds, muscular with a slender build, wearing a dark stocking cap, bandanna over face and dark clothing.
