CrimeTracker 15: Man Robs Cuba City Bank

Press Release from the Grant Co. Sheriff's Department:

On Friday, January 25, 2013 at approximately 11:48am, an unknown white male entered American Bank in Cuba City, Grant County, Wisconsin and conducted a robbery. The suspect entered the bank via the east side doors, approached two tellers, threw several colored plastic bags on the counter, and demanded money. The suspect was in the bank for a short period of time and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect exited the bank and fled to the northeast. No one was harmed or injured and no weapon was displayed.

A description of the suspect is as follows:
-Believed to be a white male.
-Approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall.
-Medium build, approximately 170-200 pounds.
-Wearing a black coat with dark-colored hooded sweatshirt underneath.
-Possible white colored t-shirt underneath.
-A white or light-colored baseball-type cap.
-An orange face mask or orange facial covering.
-Wearing blue jeans, black gloves, and tan-colored boots.
-No glasses.

At this time, this matter is a pending investigation and no other information will be released. The Cuba City Police Department was assisted by personnel from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, the Potosi Police Department, the Wisconsin State Patrol, the FBI, Benton Police Department, and the Hazel Green Police Department.     He chose the east side doors because the west side doors are next to the Police Station.
