Madison, WI. December 4, 2012 – At approximately 4:15 pm on Monday, December 3rd, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle injury crash on CTH BB, near STH 73 in the town of Deerfield.
Corrina J. Horner, age 18 of Fort Atkinson, was eastbound on CTH BB and proceeded through a stop sign at STH 73, failing to yield to an oncoming vehicle. Horner collided with a northbound vehicle operated by Dawn M. Hesprich, age 55 of Waukesha.
Horner attempted to flee the scene of the crash, but her car broke down a short distance away. She was arrested for 1st Offense Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury and Hit and Run Causing Injury. She was also cited for Failure to Yield from a Stop Sign and No Seatbelt. She was not injured.
Dawn Hesprich was transported by EMS to Meriter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
