Details
A Sun Prairie man was attacked in the parking lot of the Nakoosa Trail Walmart Saturday afternoon. The 27-year old victim was driving his mother to the store. He stopped in front of it to allow a group of pedestrians, who were departing, to pass. Several men did so, save for the last man in the group. He stopped in front of the victim's car, and did not move. The victim responded by driving around the man. This made the man angry. There was a confrontation in the parking lot which led to pushing between the angry man and the victim. This ended when the angry man punched the victim in the head, knocking him to the ground. Witnesses said three other men – the ones who had passed in front of the victim’s car without issue - joined in the battery. All fled in a blue minivan. The victim, who was visibly shaken when police arrived, suffered a bloody lip.
