Release from Sun Prairie Police Department:
On Friday July 20, 2012 at approximately 12:08pm the Sun Prairie Police Department was dispatched to 1615 Commerce Drive in the City of Sun Prairie for a fight in progress involving knives.
Officers responded to the scene to locate an adult male with injuries to the head and a stab wound to the back. Suspect information was obtained on scene.
The suspects were immediately located at their residence. 1 of the suspects was a juvenile, and the other 2 were adults. All three were taken into custody.
Statements were obtained and 2 of the 3 suspects have been arrested. It was determined that the subjects involved all knew each other and this was not a random act. Charges are pending.
The victim involved in the incident was transported to the hospital by Sun Prairie EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Once more information is obtained, further information will be released.
