CrimeTracker15: Madison Police arrest man for OWI after he allegedly struck a concrete barrier

Madison Police say a man was arrested for an OWI Sunday morning after allegedly deviating from the traffic lane.

According to a release, Jimmy M. Basusa was arrested at 2:51 a.m. on Frances St and University Av.

Basusa is facing a charge for a 1st OWI offense.

Police say Basusa was driving in the construction area of Frances St between Johnson & University. He struck a concrete barrier with his right front tire, riding up on to it, slightly.

This caused his car to tip over onto its driver side, trapping him initially. According to a release, no other property damaged and no one else injured.
