According to the Madison Police Department, a man was arrested at the East Towne Mall, after causing a disturbance.
Steven L. Price was arrested Friday night following a disturbance at the East Towne mall around 9:00 p.m.
Police were called to the mall for a report of a disturbance and it was learned that Price was the cause of this disturbance. According to a release, Price was warned by mall security that he needed to walk with his pants pulled up, as his underwear was clearly exposed.
The mall's policy is for people to walk with pants in such a manner where underwear is not exposed to other patrons, according to the release. Price refused to follow the basic rules.
He was then removed from mall and later returned. As mall security detained Price, he became agitated and more resources were needed. As officers arrived and tried to remove Price, he resisted and caused a disturbance instead of complying with lawful orders, officials said.
Price was arrested and transported to the Dane County Jail. He is being charged with resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.
