Release from Janesville Police Department:

During the morning hours of 01-04-11 the Janesville Police Department responded to a series of thefts from motor vehicles, and a burglary on the southside of Janesville. Victims had property stolen from them in the 1000 to the 1200 block of Putnam, the 1100 block of Beloit Avenue, and in the 1000 block of Bingham.

At approximately 1000 hours officers made contact at a house in the 1100 block of Bingham. The residents initially denied wrong doing in the crimes. Officers then obtained a search warrant, and recovered several car stereos, G.P.S. devices, miscellanious electronics, and some rifles. Some of these items have been identified by their owners, and other property still needs to be identified by their owner(s).

Arrested and held at the Rock County Jail were:

Menehan, Zachary T. (w/m) 18 of Beloit
Charges: Theft (party to the crime) 2 counts
Receiving stolen property
Burglary (party to the crime)

Olson, Brian R. (w/m) 20 of Janesville
Charges: Burglary (party to the crime)
Theft (party to the crime) 2 counts
Receiving stolen property
Criminal damage to property

Everett, Justin M. (w/m) 18 of Janesville
Charges: Theft (party to the crime) 2 counts
Receiving stolen property
Burglary (party to the crime)
