Details: Kohl's loss prevention officers summoned police to their store on West Towne Way Sunday afternoon after a trio of women allegedly attempted to steal more than $460 worth of merchandise. Store staff members tried to stop woman as she carried a bag of stolen items to an awaiting vehicle. The thief dropped the loot and jumped in to the getaway car where the other women were already seated.

Store surveillance video showed all three had been together inside the Kohl's and appeared to be working as a team. Security staff members were able to provide police with details about the getaway car, including a license plate number. It was stopped about an hour later in the 5800 block of Balsam Rd.

The three suspects were inside, as was a wire cutting tool, several large empty purses, and merchandise from several stores. One suspect admitted she and her accomplices had been involved in several acts of retail theft that day. More clothing items from Kohl's were found, as were several boxes of cologne - they also came from Kohl's.

There were several bottles of alcohol that were allegedly taken from Copps, 261 Junction Rd. One suspect (Ms. Brooks) had more than a dozen pieces of jewelry, valued at more than $190, in her shoulder bag. Price tags read: “Charming Charlie,” which is a store at the West Towne Mall.

According to CCAP Tara and Latrice have had NUMEROUS, MANY, MULTIPLE, a lot of 2nd chances in the justice system... when will they learn? These 2 folks need to seriously be 'confined' for a time. Johanna just needs to hang with a different crowd!

Let's this be a lesson to other thieves out there that sooner or later, you will be caught and prosecuted! Department stores spend lots of money on loss prevention and I for one, as a consumer, am tired of fitting the bill for you no good crooks!
