Town of Madison Police were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery with a gun and made contact with the female victim in the complex office. The victim reported she was opening the exterior entry door to her apartment building when she was approached from behind by a black male who displayed a pistol and demanded her money. The suspect then took her purse and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, credit cards and her cell phone.
Description of suspect:
Black male, approximately 6'00" in height with a slender build, suspect had short black hair and appeared to be in his late 20's.
