CrimeTracker 15: Armed Robbery at the Deerfield Mobil

Release from Dane County Sheriff's Office:

At approximately 5:51pm, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the Deerfield Mobil on Main, 216 S. Main St, in the Village of Deerfield, after receiving a report of an armed robbery. An employee reported an individual entered the store, displayed a knife, and obtained an undisclosed amount of money. Suspect then exited the store and fled the area on foot.

Deputies were on scene within several minutes of the call. A Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff along with his K-9 partner were close by and assisted. A perimeter was established and the area was checked, however, the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as a white male, estimate to be approximately 6’-02” and 200lbs, unknown age. He was wearing a black fleece jacket, light blue jeans and a grey ski mask.

The incident remains under investigation, and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office asks for anyone with information about this robbery to call the Dane County Sheriff’s Office Tipster Hotline at (608) 284-6900.
