CrimeTracker 15: Bank Robbery - Suspect Arrested

From the Lake Geneva Police Department:

Lake Geneva Police Chief, Michael S. Rasmussen, reports: On Friday, February 10, 2012, at approximately 11:07am officers from the City of Lake Geneva Police Department responded to 426 Center Street, Chase Bank, for a reported robbery.

The suspect was described as male white wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes, a black jacket and carrying a book bag. A suspect matching this description was located a short time later in the area of Townline Road and Curtis Street in the City of Lake Geneva. The suspect was identified as Joshua Michael Barrigar, 31 years of age, address of 40500 92nd Street, Genoa City, WI 53128.

Barrigar was confined in the Walworth County Jail and charges have been referred to the Walworth County District Attorney’s Office for robbery. Lake Geneva Police believe Barrigar robbed the Chase Bank on February 10, 2012 and the PNC Bank on October 17, 2011, both of which are located in the City of Lake Geneva.

Barrigar is also suspected in a robbery at a bank in the Village of Twin Lakes on February 06, 2012. City of Lake Geneva Detective Bureau is working in cooperation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Village of Twin Lakes Police Department. The Walworth County Sheriff’s Department also assisted in the investigation.
