CrimeTracker 15: Driver Shoots Bus With Pellet Gun

Incident Report from the Madison Police Department:

Incident Type: Weapons Violation

Incident Date: 02/29/2012 - 10:49 AM

Address: 1300 block Fish Hatchery Rd.

Suspect(s): Male, black, 20-30years old, mustache, wearing a red ball cap and driving a newer, dark colored, 4-door car.

Victim: Male, age 65, Evansville, WI

Details: The operator of a shuttle bus was about to pick up some passengers yesterday morning when the driver of an oncoming car pointed a gun out of his window and fired two shots.

Fortunately, the weapon was a pellet gun. It left the van with two dimples and its' driver extremely upset. He shuttles St. Mary's Hospital employees from a parking lot near Dean Health Care, 1313 Fish Hatchery Rd. to the hospital. He said he was southbound, about to turn into the Fish Hatchery area lot, when the northbound car approached with the driver firing the pellet rounds. He said the violence was unprovoked.

    Rusty this has nothing to do with concealed carry. If however the concealed carry law here in Wisconsin bothers you, maybe you would be better off living in Illinois.
