Release from Rock County Sheriff:

On Friday, December 16, 2011, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit along with Patrol deputies arrested Michael John Ruud M/W 09/24/91 for Possession of Heroin, Drug Paraphernalia, Drugged Driving, and two (2) counts of Felony Bail Jumping after a patrol deputy conducted a traffic stop on Ruud’s vehicle. Ruud’s Passenger, Alyssa Nicole Ahline was also arrested for Possession of Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia

A subsequent investigation revealed Ruud had burglarized a residence in Rock County where four (4) firearms, flat screen television and personal checks were stolen. On Monday, December 19, 2011, deputies from the Special Investigations Unit were able to recover three of the four stolen firearms. Upon completion of this investigation Ruud was arrested on charges of Burglary, Theft of Firearms and Theft.

Ruud was held in jail pending his initial court appearance on 12/21/11 @ 4:00PM.
