Press Release from the Rock County Sheriff's Office:
On Monday, June 10, 2012, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit (SIU), and the City of Edgerton Police Department executed a drug Search Warrant at 5801 E Colley Rd. in Turtle Township after receiving a tip from the Village of Clinton Police Department of a possible indoor Marijuana growing operation at this address.
A search of the residence led to the discovery of a marijuana growing operation in the basement. The growing operation included potting soil, chemicals, grow light and literature describing how to cultivate marijuana, all of which are used to facilitate the growing and cultivation of marijuana indoors. The search also yielded processed and packaged marijuana and marijuana at different stages of processing. The total amount of marijuana seized from the residence was 19.3 pounds with an approximate street value of $20,000.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is still conducting an investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
