Address: 500 block E. Wilson St.

Suspect(s): Male, age 61, Madison

Victim: Male, age 51, no permanent address

Details: A passerby called 911 Tuesday afternoon at the request of man who told the caller he had been stabbed. Officers responded to the 500 block of E. Wilson St around 2:30 p.m. – where the victim had been - but were unable to find him. About an hour later the 51-year old showed up at a hospital with a stab wound to the shoulder.

He said a man he knows was responsible for the injury, explaining they had been feuding over a food stamp card, and that ended with the suspect cutting him with a knife in the hallway of an E. Wilson St. apartment building. A person of interest has been identified but not yet located.
