Silly fella. You have a lot to learn about the consequences of just whipping out a gun and cutting people down. You would be better off just wearing it on your hip. Odds are they wouldn't even approach you.

just cuz you can conceal a weapon doesnt mean you can just shoot someone and get away with it. alot of missed led people with concealed weapons. ya i would have pulled a gun to protect myself... that will probaly scare them off. but what do you do if they then pull a gun out after you are pointing one at them?

Since it sounds like robber #1 was fairly close to the victim and had a knife it's entirely possible that the victim wouldn't have had time to draw, aim, and fire a handgun before being subdued, stabbed, or hit from behind by attacker #2. And I don't think they would've waited if he'd asked for time to do so. A handgun does not automatically grant its possessor the exceptional speed and hand-eye coordination that's often seen in the movies and on TV.

This happened in Madison. Thugs stand a pretty good chance victims will be unprepared/unwilling to defend themselves. In situations like this an NRA sticker on your rear window goes a long way to keep people from messing with you at a gas pump.

Yeah, but since he wasn't in his house they probably woulda needed to stab him first to not get charged with murder
