Release from Lake Geneva Police:
Lake Geneva Police Chief, Michael S. Rasmussen, reports: On Thursday, July 19, 2012, at approximately 5:52pm officers from the City of Lake Geneva Police Department responded to 100 E. Geneva Square, Associated Bank, for a reported robbery.
The suspect was described as a male white, wearing a grey baseball cap, glasses, and a tan in color shirt, blue jeans, and light in color shoes. The suspect, in an attempt to conceal his identity, wore a white in color mask around the lower half of his face. The clerk described the suspect as having a trimmed beard, stocky build, approximately 5’09”-6,’1 feet in height, approximately 230-265 lbs, 45-55 years of age. The suspect fled the bank on foot and left north bound from the parking lot in a red vehicle. The suspect made off with an undetermined amount of money and this case is still under investigation.
The City of Lake Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department.
