UPDATE: Search for Bank Robber in Westfield

UPDATED Wednesday, June 20, 2012 --- 3:08 p.m.

The FBI Milwaukee Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying a serial robbery suspect in Wisconsin. He is believed to be responsible for six bank robberies:

-April 23, 2012, Johnson Bank, 3928 60th Street, Kenosha, WI

-May 5, 2012, PNC Bank, 2356 W. Washington Avenue, West Bend, WI

-May 18, 2012, Hometown Bank, 245 N. Peters, Fond du Lac, WI

-May 31, 2012, M&I Bank, 1301Hwy 175, Richfield, WI

-June 11, 2012, US Bank, 1472 E. Sumner Street, Hartford, WI

-June 15, 2012, National Exchange Bank, Westfield, WI The suspect is described as a white male between 5’8’’ and 6’ tall, with brown hair and thin build (160 – 180 lbs).

He may have a deformity or disability to his left hand. In each case, the man handed a note to a teller that demanded cash. In some cases, witnesses described his vehicle as a green 1990s Plymouth Voyager or Dodge Caravan that might have a maroon or purple hood.

Release from Marquette County Sheriff's Office:

On June 15, 2012 at 12:06p.m. a bank robbery occurred at the Nation Exchange Bank in Westfield, WI.

A lone suspect entered the bank and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a w/m 5'7"-6'00" tall wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. No gun was displayed and no one was injured.

Officers from the Marquette Co. Sheriff's Office, Westfield Police Department, Wisconsin Department of Law Enforcement Services and the FBI are investigating the crime.
