CrimeTracker 15: Stolen MATC Laptops

3550 Anderson St. (Madison Area Technical College)

Details:
An officer was dispatched to Madison Area Technical College, 3550 Anderson St., last week after it was discovered that someone had stolen 7 of the school's computers.

Each Lenovo Thinkpad laptop was valued at $1,300, for a total loss of $9,100.

A Security staff member said the laptops were found to be missing on February 1st.

    This is not the first time, I would think by now security/loss prevention out at MATC would team up with their computer department and install gps in ALL school owned laptops.
