CrimeTracker 15: Thief Targets 84-Year-Old Woman

Madison Police have released surveillance photos from a purse snatching that occurred on February 5th.

The purse snatching happened inside Copps, 620 Whitney Way.

An 84-year old woman had her purse taken from her cart while she was looking at birthday cards. She did not see who took her purse.

Anyone recognizing the woman is asked to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.

Meanwhile, Madison police are searching for a man who stole the purse of an 88-year-old woman inside the same store. That crime occurred on February 19. Click HERE for a link to that story.

    The states should have laws like the middle east,if you do something like this they chop off your hands. I bet this loser wouldv'e thought twice before she did something like this,or maybe not.
