From the Beloit Police Department:
On June 5, 2012, Beloit Police Detectives apprehended one of the individuals involved in the recent thefts from the United Car Wash on
Madison Rd.
The individual was taken into custody at his residence without incident.
His identity was made known based on surveillance photos from the scene.
ARRESTED IS:
SCOTT J. HUNT
747 MCKINLEY BELOIT, WI
W/M 08/19/1967
CHARGES:
ENTRY INTO LOCKED COIN BOX, s.s.943.125 (3 counts)
FELONY CRIMINAL DAMAGE, s.s. 943.01(3 counts)
Mr. Hunt was cooperative with the investigation and admitted his involvement. He is currently being held at the Rock County Jail pending a court appearance.
The investigation continues into the second individual involved.

The Beloit Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying two individuals responsible for three separate thefts from the United Car Wash, 1575 Madison Rd.
The suspects have forced open the coin machines within the wash bays and removed the currency.
These thefts have occurred in the early morning hours of May 20th, May 22nd, and May 27th.
Anyone with information on the identity of these suspects is encouraged to call the Beloit Police Department, 364-6801, Beloit Area Crime Stoppers, 362-7463, or text to 274637 then type BACS + your message. The person providing information leading to the arrest of these suspects may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
