CrimeTracker 15: UW Student Attacked In Downtown Madison

Posted Monday, February 13, 2012 --- 12:05 p.m.

From the UW-Madison Police Department:

Madison, Wisconsin – Shortly after bar time on 02/12/2012, a University of Wisconsin-Madison Student was the victim of a Substantial Battery and Robbery in the parking lot at 408 N Lake St in the City of Madison by three of four other male individuals. The suspects were described as Asian Males who are believed to be 18-25 years old. No other information about the suspects is available at this time.

The victim was treated and released from a local hospital for his injuries.

University Police Department Investigators believe that due to the incident occurring in a populated area of Downtown and because of the time of when the incident occurred, there may be witnesses that could assist in the investigation.

    I hope the person who was victimized is ok. I am tired of hearing about groups of people beating up others.
