Type: Damaged Property

Address: Oakridge Ave., Jenifer St., Sommers Ave., Spaight St., Parkwood La.
Details: The Madison Police Department has received numerous calls from citizens who awakened this morning, or yesterday morning, to find spray paint damage to their parked cars (or other vehicles). Many reported cases involve different shades of pink spray paint. Most victims told officers that a vandal, or vandals, sprayed a line of paint along the entire driver's side.
Damaged vehicles were found on many streets to include: Oakridge Ave., Sommers Ave., Spaight St., Jenifer St., and Parkwood La. Several victims estimated it would cost $500 to fix damage to each car. Anyone with information on these cases is urged to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
