CrimeTracker 15: Vehicle Break-Ins In Fitchburg

Posted Friday, February 10, 2012 --- 7:25 a.m.

From the Fitchburg Police Department:

During the earlier morning hours on 02/07/12 officers from the Fitchburg Police Department arrested 3 subjects for stealing property from unlocked vehicles.

The thefts occurred in the Jamestown Neighborhood (i.e. Anton Dr., King James Way, Roanoke Dr., Smithfield Dr., and Williamsburg Way).

If you had items taken, please call the Fitchburg Police Department to report the theft.

    Sunday night the same thing happened to my vehicle in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Madison. I filed a report with the Madison PD, so of course nothing was done. I don't suppose the Fitchburg PD could check to see if any of the suspects have my stuff?

      Good Luck with that; Fitchburg is overwhelmed, and most of the Ridgewood neighborhood is not high on the priority list. Sorry - but better to know this than waste your time.
