CrimeTracker 15: Woman Injured in Home Invasion

Honeysuckle Lane

Suspect:
Black male, 40-45 years of age, 6'2" with a slender build and short hair. The suspect was not known by the victim.

A male kicked in the front door to a residence on Honeysuckle Lane.

The suspect then began punching a female victim, knocking her unconscious on the kitchen floor. By the time the victim woke up the suspect had fled taking a large amount of US currency and a computer. The victim was transported to a local hospital by town of Madison EMS where she was treated and released.

Additional information about the victim's injuries is not available.

    This is terrible and horrible stuff is happening everyday. Is there a way to fight back what's happening to good people in our community? I feel powerless as violent crime increases. Seems there's no concerted effort to fight back.
