CrimeTracker 15: Thieves Steal Sewer Grates in Beloit

Information from the Beloit Police Department:

Community: Last night thieves stole over a dozen sewer grates around the city. Help us catch these suspects by reporting suspicious activity.

The Beloit Police Department is investigating the theft of over a dozen sewer grates in various areas of the city

These grates were likely stolen to be scrapped for cash.

The crime is thought to be at least a two man job, and a pick-up or larger truck was used.

Grates were stolen from Eclipse Blvd and Burton St., also on Shore drive.

Please help us catch these thieves by calling in suspicious people you see during your travels through the city.

    those people are extremely strong yet extremely stupid no scrap place will take sewer grates they know what they are when they bring them in and if they take them they will also be held accountable wow there some really stupid things people do and that is deffinetly one of them and also funny cuz who in their right mind would do that besides these guys who clearly lost their minds
