Why are all these violent type crimes committed by the same type of people? I have lived in the same neighborhood for 20 years. Quiet, tree-lined streets. Recently, minorities have started moving into the area. Now it's loud stereos and drug activity. How can just a few people ruin an entire neighborhood in such a short time.

That is a generalization, "Concerned". A strong neighborhood reflects the way that people relate to each other in close proximity. If "Concerned" makes judgments about the people who live in his neighborhood, he's part of the problem that he perceives, because those are the types of prejudiced conclusions that only serve to divide groups of people and keep them from working together and building an atmosphere of trust.

You must live in Madison. Anytime someone points out that most, not all, but most violent crimes are committed by minorities, the racist card is immediately thrown out. Intolerance, and segregation are also thrown out. How about Madison stops wearing blinders and accept the fact that minorities that are infiltrating areas of this city are bringing the drugs and violence with them. Or, we can call people racist that point these facts out.
