(REEDSBURG, WI) A hit and run accident involving a DUI damaged a parked vehicle and a home early this morning.

Officer Josh Hoege noticed a vehicle with substantial damage in the parking lot of Webb Middle School at approximately 2:00am Friday morning.

The occupants initially said an unknown driver had struck another vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

The investigation revealed that the driver was Conner J. Lehmkuhl (22) of Reedsburg, who was on scene. Sgt. Patrick Cummings located a damaged vehicle in the 600 block of N. Park Street. The parked vehicle had been struck and pushed from the street into a home, causing minor damage to the home but extensive damage to the vehicle.

Lehmkuhl was cited for DUI – Causing Injury, Hit and Run, Operating after Revocation, Operating without Insurance, and Obstructing an Officer. The passenger in the Lehmkuhl vehicle, Lacey F. Leifker (21) of Reedsburg was also cited for Obstructing an Officer.

Lehmkuhl was transported the Sauk County Jail.
