A Dane Co. Jail inmate is tentatively charged with second degree reckless endangerment after a victim claimed he was cut and battered by the suspect on Christmas Eve.
The 45-year-old victim told officers that he and 44-year-old Leo Cowan were both staying at a W. Badge Rd. apartment when the attack took place.
He told police that the Cowan cut him on the neck and hand with a knife, and hit him in the head with a baseball bat.
The attack wasn't reported to police until early this morning.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
