From the Dane County Sheriff's Office:
June 7, 2012 – Dane County Sheriff’s deputies were able to make telephone contact with David A. Reeves and convinced him to return to the Dane County Jail. As of approximately 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6th, he was back in custody.

Release from Dane County Sheriff's Office:
Madison, WI. June 5, 2012 – Dane County Jail inmate David A. Reeves, age 34, of Madison, has been declared AWOL.
Reeves went AWOL at approximately 8:00 p.m. after cutting off his electronic monitoring device. Reeves was serving a 9 month sentence for Obstructing an Officer and a 3 month sentence for Operating After Revocation. His sentence was being served on the jail diversion program and he was being monitored by a GPS device.
Deputies immediately responded, but were unable to locate Reeves.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
