From the Rock County Sheriff's Office:

On 04-03-12 members of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, Rock County Deputies, GROC FBI Safe Streets Task Force, agents from the Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation and members of the Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response (CLEAR) Task Force, Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit, and Town of Beloit Police Department executed a search warrant at 3249 W. Alpine Dr. in the Town of Beloit for the search of Methamphetamine, paraphernalia for production of Methamphetamine, and other drug related materials.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of paraphernalia related to a methamphetamine laboratory, 3 pots containing ingredients believed to be in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine, 3.1 grams of THC, drug paraphernalia, a stolen gun, and other stolen electronics and tools from reported burglaries in Crawford County and Muscoda, WI.

John S. Sharlow Jr., age 55 of 3249 W. Alpine Dr., was arrested and taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine w/in 1000 feet of a Park, Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of material for the manufacture of methamphetamine, Possession of methamphetamine manufacturing waste, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession of THC, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony receiving stolen property.

Laura L. St. John, age 47 of 3249 W. Alpine Dr., was arrested for Possession of drug paraphernalia.

John S. Sharlow Jr. will have an initial court appearance in Rock County Court on 04-04-12 at 4:00 p.m. Laura L. St. John will have an initial court appearance in Rock County on 05-08-12 at 8:00 a.m.
