UPDATE: Man who fled fatal crash scene now in custody

UPDATED Monday, May 12, 2014 --- 2:46 p.m.

Dane Co. Sheriff's officials say a man who fled from a fatal crash in the Town of Albion is now in custody.

Deputies took Bradley Pellmann, Jr. into custody at a residence in the Village of Marshall.

He was booked into jail on a parole violation.

The crash happened Saturday on Hillside Road near Highway A.

31-year-old Nathan Trickel of Madison was ejected during the rollover crash and was killed.

Pellmann was the passenger in the vehicle.

Dane Co. Sheriff's officials have identified a man who fled a fatal crash scene in the Town of Albion.

Authorities say 26-year-old Bradley Pellmann Jr. of Cambridge fled the scene on foot.

The crash happened Saturday on Hillside Road near Highway A.

31-year-old Nathan Trickel of Madison was ejected during the rollover crash and was killed.

Pellmann was the passenger in the vehicle. Deputies say Pellmann has an outstanding warrant and could face additional charges. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911.

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office has released the name of the man killed during a single vehicle crash. 31-year-old Nathan Trickel died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities are still investigating.

Posted Saturday, May 10, 2014 --- 10:23 p.m.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office say deputies responded to a rollover crash around 5:30 p.m. in the Town of Albion on Hillside Rd. near CTH A.

They tell us the initial investigation reveals a 2004 Infinity four door sedan was heading northbound on Hillside Rd. at a extremely high rate of speed and lost control just south of CTH A.

Deputies say one occupant was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Witnesses indicated a second occupant of the vehicle fled from the crash on foot through an adjacent field.

The Sheriff's Office continues to search for the other occupant that fled from the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
