Four people were cited following a fight that broke out after a football game between James Madison Memorial and West High Schools.

Four people were cited following a fight that broke out after a football game between James Madison Memorial and West High Schools.

The incident happened around 10:00 p.m. Thursday night at Memorial High School.

According to the Madison Police Department, the fight started on the field. This led to a brawl in the parking lot after the game where about 200 people were gathered.

27 police officers responded to the scene. When officers tried to detain a 13-year-old girl who was involved in the incident, her family members interfered with the officers and four people were cited and released.

Eighteen-year-old Jasmine Williams was cited and released for disorderly conduct. Two juveniles were cited and released for disorderly conduct and one juvenile was cited and released for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer.
