Fitchburg Stabbing Investigation

Posted Monday, April 30, 2012 --- 9:30 a.m.

Police are searching for two suspects after an early morning stabbing in Fitchburg.

It happened around 5:00 a.m.

According to police, a man was leaving his Chalet Gardens home for work. Two men stopped him, and asked him for cigarettes. The victim was then stabbed in the abdomen.

The victim has been treated and released.

The suspects have not been apprehended.

    It is very tragic where innocent people are going about their daily lives and become victim to these incidents... what is this world coming to? It is scary to think that it could easily be you that could have been the victim or fall victim to these two knuckleheads next...
