From the Grant County Sheriff's Department:
On March 30, 2012, the Grant county Sheriff's Department was notified of a theft from a garage sale in Jamestown Township.
The subject holding the garage sale was able to provide the Grant county Communication's Center with a license plate of the people who had stolen property.
That vehicle was later located by deputies from the sheriff's department.
The driver, Kandice Stephens, and her passenger, Jenny Jo Polkinghorn, were in possession of the stolen property.
It was also discovered that the two females had also stolen from three other garage sales in Hazel Green and Jamestown Townships and had shoplifted from the Dollar General in Cuba City.
Stephens and Polkinghorn were both arrested and transported to the Grant County Jail.
Both were later released after posting bond.
Both are charged with four counts of Theft.
