Gunshots Hit Three Fitchburg Buildings

Fitchburg police responded to two reports of shots fired early Saturday morning, including one incident where three buildings were hit.

Fitchburg police say the first call came in at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Saturday. Fitchburg Police responded to the 2800 block of Fish Hatchery Rd for a report of shots fired. Officers located numerous shell casings at the scene and 3 buildings that were struck by bullets. No injuries were reported.

Then at approximately 3:36 a.m., Fitchburg Police responded to the intersection of Raymond Rd and Westchester Rd for a report of shots fired. Officers located numerous shell casings at the scene. No damage or injuries were reported. Based on the initial investigation it does not appear that this incident and the incident on Fish Hatchery Rd are related.
