From the Grant County Sheriff's Department:
On August 31, 2012, the Grant County Sheriff`s Department responded to a criminal damage complaint at Sinsinawa Mound.
Sometime during the prior evening, an unknown person(s) entered a nature area of the Mound and damaged several items, some of which were religious.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the Grant County Sheriff`s Department or the Grant County Crimestoppers.
