Main St. after a female from that residence called saying she and a male companion had been attacked with an ax and the suspect, Jeffrey Starkman, fled on foot. Arriving Janesville officers and Rock County Deputies found both victims had sustained serious injuries and were taken to an area hospital by Janesville Paramedics.
