A little bit before 1:00 a.m. this morning, Janesville Police witnessed a physical disturbance outside of the Back Bar on the 1900 block of Beloit Avenue.
Officers outside of the bar were able to quickly disperse the crowd and arrest Zachary Geimer, who was responsible for causing the disturbance. Geimer was still armed with a knife when they encountered him. Additional officers attempted to stop a vehicle that fled the lot during the disturbance. They weren't able to eluded police for long, as they were stopped less than a mile away, when the car became stuck in the snow on the 2600 block of Venture Drive.
Curtis Dortch was arrested for fleeing, his 2nd OWI, and driving with a revoked license. Christopher Brooks was also arrested on a probation hold.
One man was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for a laceration to his hand.
