Posted Thursday, April 17, 2014 --- 11:37 a.m.

Janesville Police believe there may be a strong batch of heroin being distributed in the community after officers responded to two overdoses within two hours on Wednesday.

Both people who overdosed survived.

Offices say the users may not be used to the potency of the heroin. Police want people to know that using heroin can be deadly. They encourage people to seek treatment at any addiction counseling agency.
