Janesville Stabbing Arrest

From Janesville Police Department:

On 01-06-2013 at 4:00 p.m. Janesville Police Department officers were sent to 502 ½ S. Franklin Street for a report of a stabbing. It was reported to officers that two men were arguing over the theft of a coat and iPod when one of the men pulled out a folding knife and the stabbed the other man multiple times in the right leg and left arm.

The suspect fled from the home prior to officer arrival. Police developed information which led them to 462 ½ N. Chatham Street where the suspect was arrested without incident. He was identified as Kenneth H. Dorsey age 55 of Milton. The suspect is being held at the Rock County Jail pending an initial appearance in court.

The victim, a 50 year old Janesville man, was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries.
