From the Janesville Police Department:
On 05/30/2012 at 9:06 pm officers were dispatched to 1413 Linden Avenue for a stabbing.
When officers arrived on scene they found that one victim had already left the scene.
Officer’s Maria Slye, Josh Johnson and Glen Hageman made contact at the residence. They found a female at the residence who suffered from a superficial stab wound to her upper chest.
As this was occurring Officers from The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit located the victim at Walgreens, 1717 Milton Ave.
The resulting investigation showed that Amelia Roque became involved in an argument that turned into a physical fight with her boyfriend of 6 months. During a struggle over a weapon she received a stab wound to the upper chest. Jesus Aranda- Barajas suffered two stab wounds, one to his left wrist and one to his left hand.
Jesus Aranda-Barajas was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for his injuries. He is currently being held at the Rock County Jail for two unrelated warrants.
Amelia Rogue was also treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. She is currently in custody on a charge of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety / domestic violence related.
