UPDATE: CrimeTracker 15: Janesville Police Search for Bank Robber

UPDATED Monday, May 21, 2012 --- 5:30 p.m.

Police believe the man who robbed an Anchor Bank in Janesville Saturday morning is the same suspect wanted for robberies in Madison and Middleton.

According to Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, the suspect's vehicle is believed to be a 2003-2008 Toyota Corolla silver/tan in color with a sunroof.

There may be minor damage to the right rear bumper area, as there appears to be a black mark in that location.

The suspect is believed to be the same suspect as the Middleton and Madison bank robberies this month. Click HERE to read information about those robberies.

Released from Janesville Police Department:

At 11:45 am on May 19th, the Janesville Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Anchor Bank at 2215 Holiday Dr.

A white male with a black Mac Tools baseball cap, long sleeve white T-shirt and tan shorts demanded money from the clerk and threatened he was armed with a firearm. The robber was handed an unverified amount of cash and fled the scene in a silver possible Toyota Corolla.

The vehicle was last seen south bound on Lexington Dr.
