Release from Rock County Sheriff's Office:
On Friday, February 24, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office H.I.D.T.A Team, City of Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit, and Wisconsin State Patrol combined efforts for a multi-jurisdictional enforcement on Interstates I-90 and I-43. Each Law Enforcement Agency organization had at least one K-9 unit during the deployment, for a total of five K-9’s altogether. During the enforcement 66 traffic stops were made.
As a result of the 66 stops, there was 33 traffic citations issued along with 71 warnings. The joint effort netted 13 arrests, with five of the arrests at the felony level. Janesville Police Street Crimes unit arrested Brianna B. Booker of Chicago, IL, age 18 for Possession With Intent To Deliver-Crack Cocaine (22 grams), along with Felicia L.M. Booker of LaCrosse WI, age 37 for Possession With Intent To Deliver-THC (6.2 grams), and Party To A Crime PWID-Crack Cocaine.
The Friday February 24th deployment is a continuation of combined efforts of Law Enforcement Agencies in Rock County and Wisconsin State Patrol. Further efforts of multiple jurisdiction deployments are anticipated in the near future.
