Madison Man Arrested After Firing Gun into the Air

Posted Wednesday, January 9, 2013 --- 10:46 a.m.

Incident Report from the Madison Police Department:

Incident Type: Weapons Violation

Incident Date: 01/09/2013 - 3:46 AM

Address: 2300 Carling Dr

Arrested: Craig J. Cunningham, 31yoa, Madison

Details: Cunningham was banging on an apartment door in the area and yelling that he was going to shoot up the place. At the time officers were arriving into the area Cunningham had walked to the bike path and Lovell Ln.

Officers then observed him fire six shots into the air. No one was injured.

Looking at Craig's extensive criminal record, I don't think he is eligible for a conceal carry permit. He probably doesn't have the training required to get the permit and also the money required for the application. He's been lucky to have serious charges dismissed in the past, like felony bail jumping but this time I see prison time.
